I am being driven crazy by this. Went to Scottland and the house we stayed in had this as their wireless. Never did work for my Mac. Now I cannot get rid of it. Before, it used to be an app that I couldn't get rid of-bounced out of the trash. Some one instructed me on how to get it off as an app and that worked-but it still pops up as an address with http. I have to close off about 30 of them every time I use my computer. It doesn't show up anywhere else. Any thoughts?

Hi and welcome,

Not sure I fully understand, but go to System Preferences > Network > AirPort > Advanced and remove it there.
Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > KeyChain Access
Look for a listing with the network name, click to highlight, then delete the entry.

also delete the password from your keychain (Utilities -> Keychain Access)

Hope this helps.
