Hello, I'm traveling in Colombia and although I have internet, I'm not near a major city where I can bring my laptop. I'm trying to reinstall OS High Sierra after erasing my hard drive due to security reasons. I've tried on my own many times yet with no breakthrough. Here is what I've done:
1. Booted up. Result: Prohibitory Symbol.
2. Booted up with Cmd + R. Then Disk Utility. Recommended erasing of Mac HD. Result: "Erasing process has failed".
3. Booted up with Cmd + Option + R. Result: "Untrusted_Cert_Title".
4. Again, Booted up with Cmd + Option + R. Result: No Access Symbol with apple.com/support -2100F.
I will appreciate any help someone may give. I'll be available. Thank you. ~ Steven from Minneapolis.
