Upgrade to Leopard?

I just bought a second hand iMac running OS X 10.4 Tiger. I am wondering if it would be worth it to upgrade to Leopard. The system specs are:
PPC G4 1.0GHz
512MB RAM
80GB Hard Drive
DVD-ROM/CD-RW Drive

I already know that from reading the min requirements that it will run Leopard. What I am wondering is how well will it run it. I don't want to make the upgrade if it will make my machine run slow or anything like that.

Thanks

I would perhaps put some more memory in it, but the only way to truly find out is to install it. I think a clean install of Leopard is essential to avoid problems.

not at those specs sorry, you could but this would slow your system down soo much, leopard may have a wonderful dock but apart from that theres nothing reallly special compared to tiger in fact alot more of my apps crash on leopard
