Update iPad 1 to OS5?

Hi,
Is it possible to update from OS4 to OS5 or OS6 in my iPad 1? If so, how do I go about it. Searched Apple's site in vain. Grateful for advice.

AFAIK, you can only update the original iPad to iOS 5.1.1 if still possible, I'm not sure if Apple still supports it.
