Two Super drives both not recognized

Hello,

Mac Pro os 10.10.5

When I try recording from iTunes or the app BURN all I get is `waiting for disk.' Both drives, This just started happening so I did permissions and h.d. verification and repair to no avail. Is there something else I should be doing?

-Which model Mac Pro?
-Which version of Burn?
-What brand/type of blank media? Have you tried another brand?
-Do the optical drives play/mount burned and retail discs normally?
-Have you tried burning a disc in Finder to either drive?
