Trouble accessing Amazon.com

Hi folks,

Has anyone had trouble accessing Amazon.com? I have used the site for years, principally to access Kindle books, and all of a sudden it is inaccessible via Chrome or Safari. The message says 'the site can't connect'.

I suspect my Mac has blocked it somehow - I do not have issues accessing any other website.

Hello and welcome.

A little more information would be helpful:

-Which model Mac?>
-Which version of OS X?
-Which version of your browsers - Safari, Chrome, etc.?
-Who is your iSP?

Hi,

2013 iMac with Mac Sierra V 10.12.6
Chrome 60.0.3163.100
Safari v 10.2 (12603.3.8)
ISP is clear.net.nz

No worries.

Both of your browsers are behind in version...the current are:

Safari 11.0 (12604.1.38.7)
Chrome 61 (61.0.3163.100)

Try updating and see if access is restored.
