SOLVED The Golden "1"

On my login screen, above my name, there appears a golden, wreathed, "1". Can someone tell me the significance of this? (Running Ventura on a Macbook Pro)

Here it is. It appears no matter what wallpaper I use.

Here ya go. It doesn't matter what wallpaper I choose - always the "1".

This is your User icon. On macOS Monterey and older, you can change it in the System Preferences -> Users & Groups. Click on the icon to change it.

On macOS Ventura you can change it in your Contact card in the Contacts app.

So it is! Thanks for the pointer - I'm still fairly new to the Mac.

BTW, if anyone would like to have that golden 1 for their picture, it's under 'Suggestions' in the list
