Temperatures

So I've got Macs Fan Control installed on my new M1 iMac. It is reporting all chip temperatures at 88-103F. Kinda warm. But the chassis feels entirely room temperature. All the way around. Very unlike the old iMacs, which were noticeably hot and reported temps upwards of 120F. Not quite sure where on the chassis they hide these chips that are reporting elevated temperature.

What are the temps in centigrade? I don’t know what my wife’s new M1 runs temp wise because I don’t have any monitoring software installed but my 2019!Intel MacBook Pro and 2020 Mini run very hot: idle at 38-40c and load closer to 100c. Fan is set to max on the mini with iStat menus, on the MacBook I set it to medium. I don’t think 100f is hot at all for a CPU but I may be wrong.

I never said my temps were too hot. In fact, they are much cooler than in my older iMac. My point was that they read out as being a little warm, and I just don't feel even that little warmth.
