Summoners War pausing in background on MacBook

Hey fellas,
following question:
I play a game on MacBook (called Summoners War). The App works perfectly fine until I put another window (e.g. Safari) in fullscreen. As soon as I put Safari in fullscreen, the game in the background just pauses. It doesn't freeze or black screen, it just pauses until I put Safari in window again. Does someone know how to let Apps keep running in background?

• Which exact model Mac?
• Which version of macOS?
• Is this the Google Play version? If so, have you tried it in Google Chrome instead of Safari?
