Stressed out student issues with AnkiSRS desktop application crashing (logfile included)

Using Mac OS Sierra v10.12.5
Anki version 2.0.41
Qt 4.8.2 PyQt 4.9.4

I've been using AnkiSRS for studying but it keeps crashing on me.

Things I've tried:
uninstalling and reinstalling Anki
updating my deps with homebrew
deleting all of the add-ons

Hello and welcome.

I am not familiar with Anki, but in doing a little research, I came across this: macOS Sierra's Documents in iCloud feature can cause data loss. Maybe this "incompatibility" is somehow causing your crashing issue? Are you using iCloud Drive and have Desktop & Documents Folders checked in the iCloud preference pane?

The Anki 2.1 Beta is available, which states "Upgraded to the latest support libraries (Python 3, Qt 5.9), bringing fixes for crashes, better handling of high resolution displays, non-Latin text, and the latest web standards."

It may also be a good idea to contact the Anki folks directly...maybe they have seen this issue before.
