Storage Problem

A few weeks ago I synced my PHOTOS on iCLOUD so that photos automatically get uploaded to iCloud and are accessible on different iOS devices I have.

So, all photos that I have on my Mac's PHOTOS app are visible on my iPhone's PHOTO app and vice-versa.

However, my iphone's storage is running full now. What should I do in this scenario. Should I remove photos from my Mac's PHOTO app and put them in iPHOTO app so that they are not synced to my iPhone's PHOTO app, thereby reducing disk space?

Or is there any other alternative?

Hello and welcome.

-What model and storage size is your iPhone?
-Are you getting an error message?
-If so, is it regarding the amount of iCloud storage?
-How many photos, how many GBs?

Hello Corry.

Here are my replies:

1. iPhone 6+ 32GB
2. The error says 'Storage is nearly full' and prompts me to 'manage storage'.
3. No. I have plenty of iCloud storage. It is regarding storage on my phone
4. About 500 photos. Photos & Camera is using 3.2GB.

Thanks,
