Hi, this happens every time I add a new audiobook on my iPod. Hours ago I deleted about 15 audiobooks from my iPod. Later I wanted to add a new audiobook; before transferring the new book, the system goes through a 'backup' which I cannot stop, and all of the deleted books are back on my iPod! Help!
Thank you

Hello,
  • What version of OS X/macOS?
  • Which exact model iPod?
  • What version of iOS?
  • Are you syncing the audiobooks when connecting the iPod to a Mac/computer?
  • Have you unchecked them so they do not re-sync?

Laptop is iOS 11.7.4 2013.
iTouch 15.7.5
I do not see any place to uncheck all the books on my iTouch, nor on the screen of my computer when "Audiobooks" is the selected choice to add audiobooks.
Thank you.
