Several old iMacs, need to transfer data from them

I have four older iMacs with data on each one. I’m wondering if I use Migration Assistant, will the data from each be named separately on my new iMac?

If you are wanting to migrate data from multiple macs into a single user, then this is not possible with Migration Assistant.

If they all have the same user name, migration assistant will ask you to create a new user name for the data in the home folder from each iMac.
