Having trouble setting up a secure connection via SSH;
Please excuse my UNIX ignorance.
I have tried multiple different formats; using OSX built in Remote Login; using Terminal and SSH commands etc;
I have tried connecting using Chicken client, JollyFastVNC, Apple Screen Share etc and
VineVNC as the server

My goal is just to log in remotely to my office via VNC but in a secure fashion.

The problem is I can not get anything to work consistently;
Can anyone help with step by step instructions.
Would the best way to proceed is to purchase RealVNC Enterprise Edition?

Thanks for any help.

Hello and welcome.

-Which version of OS X?
-What type of VNC/remote login/firewall/network security does your employer have in place?
-Does you employer have an IT department?
