Saving pics in Preview

Just recently when daving a pic or screenshot on my Mac M3it asks where I want to save the pic and a titile for it. Previously I could scan the pic or save the screenshot straight to my fesktop ? I've not changed the settings, but it's just decided to do this, so is there something I have to change, and if so how ?

Are you saying that when you take a screenshot that it 1st opens in preview, and then you need to save it vs it automatically saving toe the desktop without opening in Preview 1st?

Yes, that's exactly it. It's just started doing that, and I don't know how to fix it

This is actually Quite easy..

From your Desktop hot Command Option 5

On the bottom of your screen you will see a pallet. Click on Options and a sub menu will come up.

Under Save to select Desktop

There are other options here, and this is how i have mine set

When you are done hit Esc
