Safari secondary window auto opening

Hi,

hopefully someone can help me with this question and this is my first ever post so not sure of processes etc.

My problem.... I have Safari open and working with in the webpage. When I write or access a function of that web page another window in full screen of Safari automatically opens and common websites such as mac keeper spam or other 3rd party companies trying to sell me something automatically. Sometimes is has up to 4 tabs with in the secondary window. If i close this window it opens again in a few minutes next time i change web pages. Any idea's how i can turn this off in safari? is that my problem?

Hope it makes sense... and i appreciate any advice.

Try this, in the menu = Safari ~> Safari Extensions, search for Adblock & install it

Hi, Thanks ,This is helping a bit. I still get some new windows poping up and additional tabs on my current safari window.
