Safari being selective of websites

Is there anything wrong with 10.15.7. Ever since I downloaded this safari refuses to fully open some websites, e-bay, for example is one of them and Mail.com is another. I can easily log into them using Opera, so I am wondering if Safari has been made selective or something has to be tweaked ?

Safari, or any software for that matter is not made "selective". This could be an issue of root certificates. What version of OSX or MacOS are you running?
