Hello,
I am new on here so apologies if I am in the wrong place. I am absolutely desperate as my Mid 2012 MacPro running High Sierra has stopped loading any pages at all. I can ping a website and get the IP address back but nothing else. I don't know what to do. Can anyone please HELP.
Many thanks

Hello and welcome.

Sorry for the delay in response.

-Do you get any error message?
-Does this happen in Safari and/or other browsers like Chrome?
-Are you running a VPN?
-Do you have any Internet monitoring utilities or antivirus installed?
-Is it only your Mac, or on other devices on your network as well?

Hi Cory it’s great to hear from you. Thanks for replying.
Neither Safari or Firefox will load on my Mac Pro (Mid 2012) but they both work fine in Safe Mode and on all my other devices. I have Kaspersky and Clean My Mac running on all my devices. I have switched them both off but it makes no difference. I don’t have a VPN.

Sorry, forgot to mention the error messages I get are either “unable to load page” or “End_of_File.

No worries,

Next thing to check would be your network settings and maybe power cycle your router/modem.

OK, thanks.

Since it works in safe mode, it is definitely a software or system setting.

Maybe create another user and see if it works there? If so, the it is something loading in your user.
