Root default folder icon change

I Know it is easy to replace a folder icon on individual folders. Is there a way to change the default new folder icon so that all newly created folders are effected? I want to change the main template so the icon i choose will replace all new (and all original wouldn't hurt) default folders (the blank folder icon that appears when "create new folder" is used). My searches into this have found only very few and very old results but perhaps I am not using the right vocabulary.

With the new security many of the resources are now certified and if they are changed your system will stop working.

Anytime your enable Root or going into the System Folders you risk breaking your Mac.
