Remove Superfish from Safari

Superfish has managed to invade my browser (Safari). The web has numerous articles on removing it from Chrome, IE and FireFox, but not Safari...any help will be appreciated.

Did you install the Awesome Screenshot extension?

Open Safari ~> Prefs ~> Extensions ~> Uncheck "Enable similar product search powered by Superfish".

I looked at Pref/Extensions, but there was nothing there about Superfish...however, I am using Glims, and there was a setting there the allowed ad functions. I unchecked that and the problem has not recurred.

Yeah, Awesome Screenshot, Glims … both are culprits for installing unwanted extras
