Hello,

I have a document I created on my mac using Microsoft Word.

I would like to give it to a person who only uses a pc.

What are some of the options for doing it, please ?
Not too sharp with this "stuff" anymore.

Is there a program he can use that is free that will allow him to easily read it ?

Is there a program he should purchase ?

Anything I can do on my end to make his reading of possible and easy ? (different Save As, e.g. ?)

Much thanks, as always.

Hi Bob,

All he needs is a copy of word or any word processor that reads word files.

If the file doesn't need to be edited, you can also save it as a PDF and send that to him.

The easiest way is to just send him a .docx file, as Word files work the same on Macs and PCs. So he can open it in Microsoft Word on his PC, if he has it.
If he doesn't, he can read it for free using Word Online in his browser, LibreOffice, or Google Docs. To avoid any errors, you can also save or export the file to a PDF, which is easy to open.
