Hello.

I just installed an SSD in my MacBook Pro and it's awesome.
I've left my files and iTunes on the old HHD as I'd like to keep them there. However, don't I need to remove the applications from the old HHD? And how would I go about doing that using the HHD as an external drive on the MacBook Pro?

I hope that makes sense...

and OX will free up a lot of space. I'd move the files from your User Folders to the top level and drag and drop the rest in the Trash.

Purchase the appropriate Enclosure and Cable to plug it in the MacBook Pro.

You will probably need to Get Info on the drive and Check Ignore ownership on the volume.

Thanx for the suggestions! They were perfect.

I have a nice USB 3.0 enclosure that I'm using now. I plan to get the Expresscard to USB 3.0 adapter and cable from OWC to better utilize the old HDD, unless you think there's a better solution.

Thanx again, Kaveman.
