(program) cannot be opened because of a problem...

Hi,
Here is my issue...
I am trying to open an application (it is a design program called FlexiExpert) that has been working completely fine with no changes, and suddenly when I try to open the program, I get an error that says it cannot be opened because of a problem. I cannot delete and reinstall the program because I don't have the original CD :-/ Any ideas what I can do to fix it? I can open other applications just fine so it's something with this specific one. I read somewhere it might have something to do with an alias file, but I definitely didn't do anything out of the ordinary to create an alias file...

-Which version of Mac OS X?
-Which version of Flexi Mac? Or are you running FlexiExpert in Windows via Boot Camp or Parallels/Fusion?

It is Mac OS X
Version 10.6.8
I am running an older version of Flexi 8.5v2, not sure how it is working on my Mac but I was given a CD at one point to install it....
