Hi lynda,

First, want to say that we are "neighbors", as I am located about 25 miles south of Seattle. You are I are lucky to be living "up in God's country"! Vancouver Island is quite beautiful.

Secondly, how exactly did you get to Sierra, OS 10.12.3? The reason I ask is that there is this:

https://support.apple.com/kb/PH25221?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

and this:

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7680409?start=0&tstart=0

and this:

Sorry I could not directly answer your question, as I have not used iPhoto nor Photo much at all.

Hi Thanks for your information but I think I did not explain clearly my problem. My photos have all been transferred over to Photos from I-photo. What I noticed is that I have no way to edit my photos any more... In I-Photo I had an edit button but no where in Photos can I find a way to edit ie correct the horizon, flip photos etc.

BTW the mountains in my photo is my view of the Olympics from my hometown! :)

Cool photo! Mine is one of Mt. Rainier. Man, it's just beautiful country up here! The only place I have visited that is prettier is Lake Tahoe. But our area definitely comes close!

Here are the results of a google search of "Can photos be edited with the Photo app that comes with Sierra?';

https://www.google.com/search?q=Can+photos+be+edited+with+the+Photo+app+that+comes+with+Sierra?&oq=Can+photos+be+edited+with+the+Photo+app+that+comes+with+Sierra?&aqs=chrome..69i57.25441j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

As I mentioned, I have not used the Photo app much, so when I read some of the links, I did not fully understand. However, the one entitled "How to Use Markup Editor in Photos App in macOS Sierra" seems to have what you need.
