PAGES VN 8.2.1 Paragraph Numbering

I am used to Word where Tiered numbering of paragraphs is relatively easy.
Now I am on Pages and cannot find any easy way to set up a document with tiered numbering ie:
1 first paragraph
1.1etc
1.2 bxcvxfd
1.2.1 abcdef
1.2.2ghijkl
I am sure it is easy but I cant seem to get it right.

Hello and welcome.

Once you activate Bullets& Lists > Numbers, check the Tiered Numbers box. Then in your document, when you tab in, it will add the 1.1.
