Hi, I work in IT but limited knowledge of Macs.
Stepson has an imac, 1TB HDD.
Uses it for Minecraft, discord, school and photography.
Recently had provlems with slowness. On looking, 850gb of storage being used by "other".
Have paid for "clean my mac", have used the default tools in mac os and have searched through library folder. Nothing showing up to be taking the space.
No large files found, stepson profile at 90gb is bar far largest folder.
Managed to clear 200gb space 4 days ago deleting stuff but "other" storage has eaten that again already.
Little choice but to wipe and rebuild unless anyone has any clever ideas?!?
