Hello everybody,
Yesterday, Sunday, Mar 10, 2019, I upgraded from OS Maverick 10.9.5 to High Sierra through the apple store. High Sierra will not recognize my Magic Mouse. It just keeps searching for it to no avail. I'm using an old Logitec USB mouse now. Bluetooth preferences show that the mouse is not connected. Then mouse #1 is not connected. I had one mouse go bad about eight years ago and I was still on warranty so went to the apple store and got another one. I suppose this is why both mouses are listed. The dialog box says "Bluetooth: On"
I know this is a great forum and would greatly appreciate the help.
Thank you,
Clay

Hello,

Have you tried deleting the Magic Mouse (both actually), powering the Magic Mouse off, powering it back on, and adding it again? Also, make sure you have fresh batteries.

Cory,
Thank you for your reply. However, I got everything going a couple of hours ago. The Mac "assistant" got the bluetooth going. It was great. It did everything. I only had to input my e-mail address and some other thing which I now forget.

Thanks again,
Clay.
