Don't know if this is the right place to ask this question or not. I've had a problem today. I received an email from Apple that I had an update to install. So I went ahead and did it. Recently I updated to Maverick btw. It seems now that my WD SmartWare is not compatible with this operating system. I checked on the WD site and did an update. Things seemed to be working alright but today when I did the update, I had a popup in the corner of my screen that says "performance may be impacted until completed". I checked on my console and this is the chatter that is going on there…

2/28/14 9:50:52.939 AM com.apple.launchd.peruser.501[188]: (com.support.com.Nexussrvd[748]) Job failed to exec(3). Setting up event to tell us when to try again: 2: No such file or directory

2/28/14 9:50:52.941 AM com.apple.launchd.peruser.501[188]: (com.support.com.Nexussrvd) Job should be able to exec(3) now.

Over and over again. Can someone please tell me what the heck is going on and should I be concerned.
Thanks

Hi and welcome,

I suspect from what you say that there may be some invalid rules regarding the WD SmartWare, can I ask why not just use time machine?
