SOLVED One way from iCloud

When I type an event into iCloud Calendar it appears on my MacBook in Calendar.
If I type an event into MacBook Calendar it does NOT appear in iCloud Calendar!
Why not please?

-Which version of OS X/macOS on your Mac?
-Do you have an iOS device setup with the same iCloud account?

I have seen older versions of OS X/macOS have issues with certain parts of the iCloud services, since Apple does make small changes that affect the way they sync with iCloud.

Cory, I have solved this. I closed each device, reloaded, and all is good.
