I have a desktop Mac Pro I bought new in 2005.
I recently moved and took super care of transporting and setting up. It did take me a few days before I could set up and power up.
It worked fine though no internet for a month. Upon turning it on for the third time, my login page did not come on.
It went to a light pale grey to a deep blue and then back toma pale grey screen. The cursor spun and spun. No login page. Both screens.
I cleaned out the cpu and replaced a disc battery inside. It actually seemed peppy on starting but the same sequence of screens came up.
I have disconnected one of the monitors and made sure thatbthe one that is connected is the correct one as the home or primary screen.
Any help would be great.
