Mysterious phone calls

I have an iPhone X Max and a strange thing happens about every two weeks: The phone will ring just 2 times, but it's not my ring tone or any of the others you can choose. The ring is just like the old land line phones that had two bells that were struck by little hammers. There's no in dictation on the phone that it's receiving a call and no record that a call has been received. Other than the two rings there's no other sound.
Has anyone had this happen to them and does anyone have an explanation for it?

Hello,

It sounds like it may be a notification from a third-party app, a recurring calendar event with an alert, or maybe an alarm in the Clock app.

Check those and see if that may be the cause.

Have checked what you've suggested and a have found nothing that would cause it.
