My iWatch keeps on asking to enter passcode all the time.

Hi, my iphone has the dam annoying habit of keeping on asking me to enter my Passcode, every time i want to see the time that keep on coming up and i have to press to dial to bring back the watch face... dam annoying..

How long have you had this Watch? Is it paired with an iPhone? Most issues can be resolved by un-pairing and re-pairing the watch with the iPhone.

Hi, also now noted that the side button no longer turns the phone off. it is a Model 8 iwatch. not worth repairing.

No, maybe not. Would you get another? If so it's worth unpairing it while it still "works". You cannot pair a new one to your iPhone until the old one is removed.

You can do that usually easily from the Apple Watch app, Click on "All Watches" at the top. Click on the little "i" for Info and at the bottom of that page is "Unpair" in red.
