My whole display expanded so that I could not see the icons and the top control bar! I have tried the settings and resolution window, but nothing puts it to the right size. Right now I have my display set so that it is two inches off off the left and right, but at least I can see all my buttons! Help how do I fix it?
My display got over-expanded and I don't know how to fix!

It sounds like Zoom has been activated and the screen is zoomed in.
Try this:
Hold Option and Command keys down and tap the - (minus) key until screen zooms out to normal.
Let us know if that doesn't fix it.
