music authorization

After transfering my music to a new macbook air I can no longer play songs I purchased on an old mac with a different email address. I no longer have this mac. I have never delt with the authorization process before.what should I do?

iTunes
Go to the Store Menu
Select Authorise This Computer...
Enter the iTunes Account and Password you used when you purchased the music.
