As most folks know, I have bene waiting for updates to Tech Tool Pro, SuperDuper!, and the Logitech Control Center software for my Logitech mice. But, it looks like I could be waiting longer. In discussions today with the good folks at Micromat (the company that makes Tech Tool, Pro), they provided me with 2 links about some serious issues with Sierra, including the 10.13.1 update that came out the other day:

It's bad enough with the APFS change being so dramatic (and, it appears, troublesome), but when I read such things, along with the post I did earlier today regarding SuperDuper!, and with all the issues folks are having here, it definitely makes me thing a lot more about waiting. I actually remember reading a comment by a knowledgeable individual (might have been our esteemed Cory Cooper, but not for sure) that it might be wise to wait until after the beginning of the new year before upgrading. That certainly looks accurate, as 1) the OS 10.13.1 update made some matters worse, and 2) there will certainly be at least 1 or two more High Sierra updates before things get stable enough.
