Mircrosoft Word Toolbar Issue

I am running word 16.16.27. and have 'Spelling & Grammar' on my 'Quick Access Toolbar'

'Preferences > 'Ribbon & Toolbar' > 'Quick Access Toolbar' in 'Choose Commands From' select 'Spelling & Grammar' click the '>'
and 'Save'

I followed your instructions to the letter. Now, the 'Spelling and Grammar' is still set to 'Hide Spelling and 'Hide Grammar'.

Also, the Review pane is not working.

I can't see that this has been resolved an I think I have the same problem. Previously, when I clicked on Spelling and Grammar in the tool bar, it took me to Spelling and Grammar option. Today, all I get is options to hide errors. See screen shot. I am rubbish at IT stuff so please make any advice you might have REALLY easy to follow.
