Mircosoft Word does not open!

Hey there,
so my Word Office is not opening anymore. It show's a problem-notification.
I have Word 2008 and i am just about to update my Mac on Version 10.12.5 macOS Sierra.
So I don't know what to do. I tried some advises in the internet but nothing worked.

Hello and welcome.

-You are running macOS Sierra 10.12.5, correct?
-Have you checked for updates to Microsoft Office - the latest Office 2008 version of Word is 12.3.6?
-Did this issue start after you updated to 10.12.5?
