Microsoft Print Server, Mac OS X Lion, HP Print Drivers

We print via LPD to a Windows Print Server from our Macintosh computers. Under Mac OS X Lion (10.7) HP drivers seem to only be available via Software Update.

1. Is there a way to configure the Windows server to tell the Macintosh computers which printer they are connecting to so they can download and install the appropriate driver?

or

2. Is there a way to manually install the drivers?
