no questions just me gloating about my new ish mac
the powermac G4 400 mhz with a sonnet encore 1000 mhz has been stripped and sold off to make place for the following
a 2003 MDD dual 1 ghz G4 power mac
with 1 gig of ram
200 gig hd
64 mb ati radeon
2 dvd writers ( 16 and 8 speed)
its running tiger 10.4.8 and hooke dup to a 17 inc lcd screen
i have had it since june and it has not been powerd down since
only rebooted
its a great machine and only a few things about it irk me
the first is wel known to anybody who ever worked with one
and thats the noise it makes it sounds like a bloody industrial hoover
the second is that it eems to get confused btween the oem dvd drive and third party dvd drive and at times refuses to let go of a dvd
other then that i have no complaints it has room for 4 hd's as soon a si figure out how to instal one in the back brackets il plunk ina few hd's
..what ?
i have 800 gig in my pc you think 200 is enough for me ?
