I have two iMacs - one a Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2019 and the other
I have several "My Passport For Mac" hard drives which I use to back up data and trade date between the two computers.
One of these hard drives with music on it has worked fine - and still does work, in the sense that I can play music from it. But it's otherwise frozen. I can't copy anything to or from it, I can't click on any of the files, and so on. But it does play tunes through Music, even as it otherwise seems frozen. I've tried the obvious things - using it on another computer, restarting the computer, and so on. Nothing makes any difference. It's worked fine for months.
Does anyone have a clue? Thank you kindly in advance.
