Macmail inbox crashing

Hi all,
Macmail 9.3 inbox is crashing on my 10.11.6 El Capitan, late 2011, MacBook Pro.
It’s such a beautiful machine, I replaced the original disk drive with a solid-state. It’s all fast and wonderful again.
If I update OS, I believe I will lose access to my CS6 Adobe products.
I have to live without Macmail?

Hello,

• Is the crashing happening after you replaced the drive and reinstalled OS X?
• Did you migrate your data from the old drive to the SSD?
• How many email accounts are setup?
• Do you have a Time Machine or other backup of your data?
• Is your stored email only in folders in the On My Mac section in the Mail application, or is it viewable if you login to webmail for your accounts?
