Mac too slow

Mac running too slow.

My IMac is also too slow, and programmes often get stuck, withbthe usual spinning beach ball. Should I get a pro to sort it out properly? If so, where do i go please???

You can probably get adequate help here but we need to know more information on your Macs. What make/model, year, the version of OS X or macOS, type of drive (HD or SSD), size, amount of RAM, and a description of what you were doing when the beachballing starts.
