Mac Pro Upgrade to Big Sur

Has anybody succeeded in upgrading a Mac Pro to Big Sur? I have an original Mac Pro 1,1 in my home office. I have added extra memory, upgraded the graphics card and it's running El Capitan (screenshot attached). I want to try and upgrade to Big Sur, to have the latest versions of software for my work. This Mac is a beast, much quicker than a 2015 iMac I use in the office office.

Unfortunately, El Capitan is the last Mac OS you can run on your MacPro. This link shows what versions of the Mac OS can run on various Mac models:

In your case, click of the +expand "box" across from where it says MacPro.
