i have recently bought MacBook air 2024 15'' 16gb ,but no facebook app or youtube app appears to be listed
Is this correct and can I install it myself.

No, Meta only makes apps for the iPhone and iPad. You have to use a browser to access the two sites. Use tabs in a browser to do so.

True. And you can also access YouTube, more effectively, using Friendly Streaming. and stream most of the other channels like Netflix, Hulu, tv+, etc. It’s available from the App Store.
