mac os x ver 10.3.9 stuck in wrong date and still isnt set up.

My mom has been trying really hard to support me getting back into diablo 3 but needs to use a computer too so we found a junked imac and an osx copy but it wont work without the date being fixed so we can connect the internet and she can use it. Please help. Im sorry I wouldve posted introduction first but it wont let me and I need to get this done so I can get back to lootin and sootin, know what im saying?

You should be using a Time Server for the Time/Date not the internal clock.
System Preferences > Time & Date > Set date and time automatically then choose the the closest server.

It cant do that. No internet. Which we cant do without the time and date corrected.

You need to get the battery replaced, this is a hardware issue, we can't do anything about that here.
