I've been having this problem for over two weeks now, where every website but facebook will load. It might not seem that important, but a lot of my group projects for school communicate over facebook.
All I get is a message saying: "Safari can't open the page because the server where this page is located isn't responding." I can log into my account from different computers, laptops using the same wifi as me don't have this problem and this problem persists no matter where I am.
Here are some things I have tried:
I think it may be related to something I tried to download about a month ago, but I uninstalled and deleted it.
Any suggestions would be great.

- Updated OS from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion
- Used three different browsers: Safari, Firefox, Chrome
- Cleared downloads, cookies, cache, etc, etc. multiple times
- Used both http and https
- Ran virus scans and came up with nothing
- Tried CCleaner and OnyX, but it did nothing
