Mac Mini with Roland GX24 vinyl cutter?

I will be buying a Mac Mini M2 pro by Christmas and need to understand if it will support a Roland GX24 vinyl cutter. Does anyone have any experience with this?

If yes, what software are you using to print to it? It doesn't seem like Cutstudio is supported, and support from Roland is worthless. Spend another $2000 is their response on their site.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hello and welcome.

Sorry for the delayed response.

I am not familiar with the Roland cutters. A quick search found this: Roland CAMM-1 GX-24 24" Vinyl Cutter of which the driver is only supported in Windows. The Roland DG CutStudio software also only shows Windows compatibility.

Not sure if that would run under Parallels/Windows 11 (ARM) on an Apple Silicon/M2 mini. I would defer to Roland Support for the official answer.
