Mac Mail Folder Color

Hello,
I had a blue mailbox folder in Mac Mail, which had a lot of important e-mails saved in it. All of a sudden, the folder became white, and all the e-mails are gone. Does anyone know what could have happened? Help!

What sort of Mail Account was it? If was iMAP then those emails were on there server and you're no longer on the net/or logged in.

If it was a POP account or you had moved those emails local, then the underlining folder has been moved or deleted.

this could mean your HD is failing, ensure you have a full and current backup.
