I know that Parallels and such can run Windows software so that the mac can have a window open running Windows WHILE the mac is running.
I also know that the M1 won't have that software available for it (yet at least).
I also know that in the past I could partition my Mac to have an older OS on it at the same time that I have the current OS (but I am not sure if that is still possible no mind the fact that the M1 is out).
That being said . . .
IS there Virtual Software that lets us BOOT UP Older Mac OS' like Parallels does with Windows? For example, I have an old 3D program called Bryce that works with my old mac using Snow Leopard. I would love to be able to boot it up in a separate window on my current mac (running El Capitan) and use it like some kind of Mac version of DosBox or Parallels.
Does any kind of MAC Virtual Software like that exist?
Thank you,
