SOLVED Line of Rectangles

I am getting this line of rectangles on the right side of my screen with the option to "close" or "more" I don't know why and can't rid myself of them. Help!

That sounds like Notifications in OS X/macOS.

-Which version of OS X/macOS?

You could try enabling  > System Preferences... > Notifications > Do Not Disturb, or turning off individual Notifications for the apps in the list on the left of that preference pane.
